We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming 34th IASGO World Congress to be held at the Palazzo Della Gran Guardia in Verona between 9-12 September 2023. IASGO (International Association of Surgeons, Gastroenterologists, and Oncologists) founded in 1988 has more than 1700 members from over 90 countries worldwide and its main mission is the globalization of medical knowledge and expertise through continuing medical education. The world’s leading experts in surgery, oncology and gastroenterology will share recent findings in the medical and surgical treatment of gastrointestinal disease to improve patient care and quality standards. The multidisciplinary approach for the treatment of oncological diseases will be one of the main focuses of the meeting aimed at improving feasibility, increasing efficacy, and promoting the sustainability of care. At IASGO 2023 we will discuss on precision medicine and molecular targeted therapy seeking to optimize the pathway for early diagnosis, tailor therapeutic interventions, and assess prognosis. We will also address the benefit of minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic approaches and the latest artificial intelligence technologies applied to medical care.
